Record July Home Sales

Wisconsin existing home sales hit a new record for the month of July according to the Wisconsin Realtor’s Association. Home sales rose 7.6% in July relative to the same month in 2019 and the medium price of homes rose to 226,400 which is 10.4% higher than last year.

Wisconsin existing home sales hit a new record for the month of July according to the Wisconsin Realtor’s Association. Home sales rose 7.6% in July relative to the same month in 2019 and the medium price of homes rose to 226,400 which is 10.4% higher than last year.


To date, 2020 is only 1.9% below 2019 in total sales but August is expected to be another robust month. To date, prices in Wisconsin are up 8.4% over 2019.


Low interest rates and strong sales in less urbanized areas continue to fuel Wisconsin during a period of very tight inventory in the marketplace.
