Free Fire Extinguisher Replacement

Klapperich customers are still receiving free fire extinguishers from the Kidde recalls involving over 134 models of extinguishers.

Most homeowners have thankfully never needed to use their fire extinguishers. Some were purchased new and others are inherited when a home is purchased. And today the majority of homeowners do not check whether their extinguishers need to be replaced or take advantage of the free replacement recalls of 2009, 2015, and 2017.

“Many of our customers continue to receive free fire extinguishers from the fire extinguisher recalls. Many community stores sell Kidde and you would be surprised how many of these recalled extinguishers are still present in homes. We had one customer recently help their friends, family, and parent’s check the recall list and helped get them over 20 free replacement extinguishers. It’s so easy to do and your loved ones will appreciate it” said Steve Klapperich, realtor at Klapperich Real Estate.

This recall involves two styles of Kidde extinguishers: plastic handle fire extinguishers and push button Pindicator fire extinguishers. The recall involves 134 models of Kidde fire extinguishers manufactured between January 1, 1973 and August 15, 2017. Simply click  here to determine if your models are on the recall list.  If so Kidde will replace the units free of charge including free shipping costs.
